Famecia Ward is a working actress based in Atlanta, Georgia, with roots in Dawson, Georgia, and Hartford, Connecticut. With a strong foundation in theatre and credits spanning multiple independent films including “Night capped” she continues to build a dynamic career on screen. Her work also includes appearances in Netflix's reboot of A Different World and Paramount's The Ms. Pat Show.
A disabled U.S. Army veteran, Famecia brings resilience, authenticity, and depth to every role she takes on. She also spent nearly a year living in Hong Kong, as NALA in Festival of The Lion King at Hong Kong Disneyland. An experience that broadened her perspective and appreciation for diverse cultures.
Recently, she served as the primary caregiver for her mother until her passing, a journey that profoundly shaped her strength and outlook. Inspired daily by her mother's courage, Famecia channels that same determination into both her life and her craft. When she's not on set, she's a devoted dog mom who believes the most powerful performances are rooted in truth, perseverance, and heart.
