Actress, Writer, and now award winning Director, SALINA DUPLESSIS is Hollywood's new prototype of a triple threat. Since graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Acting from the University of Southern California, Salina has starred in many feature films most notably “A Mothers Love,” opposite Rolonda Watts and Vanessa A. Williams. She has also starred in the Syfy Network TV movie American Horror House opposite Morgan Fairchild and directed by Darin Scott. While at USC, Salina wrote, produced, and performed in a one-woman show, “My Volcano,” under the direction of award winning writer and performance artist Luis Alfaro. She has also worked and studied extensively with Julliard Alum and Tony nominated actress Mary Joan Negro. And she currently studies with Choice Skinner’s Break Through Acting Workshop.
 
Currently Salina is focusing on producing and developing her own projects while establishing herself as an actor. Recently Salina wrote, produced, directed, and starred in the dark comedy short film “My Name is Karma,” which won an award for “Best Comedy Short Film” at the Urban Media Makers Film Festival. It also has been screened at The Los Angeles Pan African Film Festival and The Black Harvest Film Festival. With her extensive emotional range, inherent creativity, and business acumen, Salina is driven by being involved in all aspects of the film making process.
