Famecia Ward is featured in Backstage Magazine's "30 on the Verge" issue as one of 30 actors on the brink of Stardom! 2013 Bare Bones International Film & Music Festival "Best Actress" Nominee for film "If I were a bell" as lead Genie Harris, Featured actress in Grammy Award winning Vashawn Mitchell's "Turning Around For Me" video currently playing on BET Sunday Gospel and Christian Music Stations Internationally. "Diamond Ruff" is her first feature film and first starring role alongside Fredro Starr, Freddie Jackson, Felicia Snoop Pearson, and Dennis L.A White among others set to premiere November 2013.
"The Industry" a new web series about the music industry based in Atlanta, GA set to begin this Spring boasts Miss Ward as the face of the series! Seen across the Nation in such Productions as "Smokey Joe's Cafe", "Ain't Misbehavin", McDonald's "Faces of Black History" Tour, and "Arms Too Short To Box With God" receiving rave reviews. Currently in workshops for a thrilling new musical pushing for It's Broadway Debut "21" about the life of Roberto Clemente. Written by Alki Steriopoulos Broadway composer and writer while directed by heavyweight Jerry Dixon, the play had a featured article on MLB.com in which it sighted Famecia as having the "prominent role" of Anairis, Clemete's sister!
Famecia has had the privilege of studying with one of the best acting coaches to A-lister's Ms. Susan Batson in NYC while also receiving vocal training from Mary Setrakian who has worked with R n B diva Mary J. Blige, Pop Sensation Rihanna and a host of Broadway singers. Various singing credits to include special performances directed by musical genius David Foster in which she performed background vocals for both Alicia Keys and Josh Groban at the MGM Grand Foxwoods Casino Grand Opening!!! Famecia Ward hails from two home towns with EQUAL LOVE Dawson, GA in which she still has her only living parent a mom who adopted her and raised her as her own and Hartford, CT where she graduated high school and attended Central CT State University.
